Words Infinite Paint
Words...Infinite Paint
by Sharon Woolbright
Words… the infinite paint used to create pictures.
Voices… the many and varied brushes used to dip into the endless color of Words.
The mind… a receptacle containing the infinite paint choices. The place where Words begin their multi-hued journey from small varied parts, fashioned and mixed in the room of emotion.
Words, the endless color choices used by the brush of sound, mixed in the room of emotion, uttered onto the canvas of ears, creating abstract or concise images received, arranged, and viewed in the mind galleries of those present.
Words. Splashes of endless mixes of color.
Painting soft calm hues of color, creating assurance of peace and safety. Whispering pastel mixes, caressing the canvas with soothing blends of reassurance and love.
Whimsical many angled brushes speaking dancing colors of laughter and joy. High pitched squeals of colorful anticipation leading to the unveiling of surprises!
Whispering brushes releasing ugly dark secrets. Deep shadowed dark color released on fragile canvases that tear with the weight of the thick brush strokes.
Angry mixes of fiery color, thrown onto the canvas, uncontrolled strokes, creating word colored responses of fear and danger.
Deep toned, flashes and rumbles of lightning, jagged mixes of multicolored emotion, storm colored sounds. Warning the hearer of the impending storm quickly approaching!
Words… the infinite paint used to create pictures.

My words today will fill many and varied canvasses. Colors, chosen from the varied emotional rooms I am mixing from.
Will I create galleries in the mind ears of those who are present, filled with restful, peaceful, thought provoking well thought out colors that bring life enriching images?
Will I randomly splatter useless confusing left over colors from my yesterday onto the empty slate of their today?
Will I project a storm tossed depression of darkness onto their already cloudy canvas?
Will I repentantly reassure my family the storm filled dark colors of yesterdays storm is over and I am no longer raging and rumbling leaving buckets of paint dripping from the canvas of their memories?
Will I dance through my joyful color choices and leave footprints of laughter?
Will I use soothing, love filled color to fill the canvases of those whom I love?
Will I enter the mixing room of color and wisely and carefully choose the colors to convey my endless gratitude to my aging parents for the galleries they have contributed to my life?
Will I use black marks on white paper to transform black marks into limitless colors creating varied and wonderful galleries for many?
Words… the infinite paint used to create pictures.

What will I choose to paint with my Words today? What will you choose?

We my dear friends have the power to choose what we paint onto the canvas of those around us. I desire to paint beauty, peace, and truth. Words that will point the lonely to the one who will never leave them or forsake them.
