The Keys

The Bible says in Ephesians 4:9 (KJV Strong’s)

Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.

Jesus descended (went down) into Hades, the region of departed souls (the minds and emotions of men ) and captured that which would hold us captive. Our thinking processes and the emotions attached to them.

The words Hades or hell in the Greek literally mean the place of departed souls, with their minds and emotions. If Hades is the place of departed souls, souls being the minds and emotions of men now dead and Jesus went down and captured that which in their minds and emotions held them captive, taking what ever had captivated them and then ascended, went up, to His resurrected position, above all heavens and took His position to fulfill all things!

Then did He not meet the legal requirements as a mortal man and redeem our mental and emotional being? 1Corinthians 2:16 says we have the mind of Christ. How does this work? I believe that we have access to the mind, thinking processes and emotions of Christ through the Holy Spirit. He knows the Father and how things were in the beginning. Jesus then chose to become a human being so we could be seated in the heavenly realm with Him. Let’s look in 1 Corinthians 2:9-16.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (*bold and underlining added by author)

If we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above all principalities, and powers. We have been given access to the same process Jesus used to defeat any enemy that would come against our souls, our thinking processes and the emotions that come through our thinking and imagining.

Then it would stand to reason that the enemy isn’t the one who has the ability to capture my thoughts and emotions and hold me hostage.

Anxiety, and fear, will bring mental and emotional torment. Unless I have allowed Holy Spirit to show me the mind, thinking and emotions of Christ Jesus, which He already went into Hades the place of departed thinking and reasoning and captured for me. My access to have His thinking and reasoning has already been made available to me. It is part of my salvation. It is by grace, God’s favor bestowed upon us without our earning or deserving it, through faith which is the image of the result I need, that we are saved. Not by works or my abilities! It’s a free gift! Jesus already paid for everything I will ever need! Ephesians 2-10 tells me so.

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

*8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. *( Bold lettering and underlining added by author)

Jesus has the keys that unlock the places in our minds and emotions where we have been held captive.

(KJV Strong's) Rev.1:18 -- I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of *hell and of *death.

He gave us the keys to the Kingdom.

Matthew 16:15-19 (KJV Strong's)

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said,* Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, *Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for *flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and *upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

We have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son!

Colossians 1:12-14 (KJV Strong's)

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

The Father has delivered us from the power of darkness the inability to see! He has translated us or moved us from one place to another, from darkness the inability to see into the kingdom of His dear Son! Making us partakers of light, giving us the ability to see!

Matthew 16:19 KJV Strong's

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  (underline and bold added by author)

We have the keys to the Kingdom! When we recognize that Jesus is the Son of the living God then we are blessed because flesh and blood didn’t figure it out, but the Father revealed it to us! The Father can't reveal Christ to us if we aren't seeking Him for answers. Much like my husband can't reveal information to me if I don't have a conversation with him.

Upon the rock, or solid foundation of Christ being the son of God. Who having lived, died, been resurrected, descending into hell and made an open show of Satan. By giving this free gift to us, the gates or entrance into hell the place of tormented minds and emotions, shall not prevail against us! It doesn't say we will not experience the opportunity to be tormented in our minds and emotions. It says that emotional torment will not prevail against us! It will not WIN!

Here we receive the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatsoever we bind or lock up on earth shall be bound or locked up in heaven: and what ever we loose or unlock on earth shall be loosed or unlocked in heaven!

I believe the gates of hell shall not prevail against us because we also have been given the keys of death and Hades through what Jesus did! He has the keys to death and Hades the place of departed souls, minds and emotions! We have the mind of Christ! Having completed His mission to reconcile the world back to God, seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us to understand that our position has already been secured in the earth! Our thinking processes and emotions that live and are experienced through our bodies have been set free! The door is unlocked. I can open it and go in and experience total freedom in my emotions!

Allowing Holy Spirit to continually teach me by showing me what to do about what I am hearing the Father say and do, will give me the images I need to act upon. Thus gaining a real time manifestation of that which heaven has released for my good.

Using my imagination or ability to think, and picture things I need or desire, is the basic function of the soul with it's mind and emotions. I think, see, feel, and act based on what I imagine or envision.

If my mind and emotions are continually imagining the next awful thing that can happen then I am imaging negatives that will develop into the fearful expectation I imagined. Is this not negative faith? Would that not fit the description of being in torment in my mind and emotions? A living hell?

If I only allow the hope (great expectation of good)of the things I imaged to produce faith shots of what I hopefully expect then I will with great joy and patience develop and experience the good results from a good good Father! Would this not depict my living in the Kingdom of Heaven? Positive faith, faith released on the positive knowing that God has promised and He cannot lie!

Most of us have had many years of experience in developing the negative images. Some we have imagined or imaged for ourselves. Some images we have are because we have watched others go through hard things. Others we have literally had our own real past experiences with.

We have memory rooms full of reels that play back to prove that our anxieties and fears are warranted. We have albums of memories that have been our past experiences. We take them out often and remember how emotionally traumatic those times were. Sometimes we forget to turn the page and look at the many images of the goodness of God manifesting in our lives. We rarely replay the goodness of God manifested in our real time lives.

Some of us may have had all of our good albums burned by the fiery trials we have gone through.

I have good news my friends, George, AKA Holy Spirit is a wonderful and efficient personal assistant! He made copies! Only of the good stuff!

Dear friends, I think I will have a bonfire. As I am reminded of the negative albums and past reels of my life I will give them to George. I want him to consume them with the fire of His presence! Ignite them with the light of truth and invite the devil to the show!

The accuser of the brethren will not be so quick to remind me of the things that have caused past fears and anxiety when he sees the determination I have to clean house and declutter my soul, mind and emotions from all the lies and half truths that I have hoarded over the past years of my life!

Satan doesn’t know my future so he can’t speak into anything but my past!

Holy Spirit is the all knowing part of the God head that is here on the planet with me to assist me toward the mark of the high call in Christ Jesus! He can see my future and will direct me to where everything is that will guarantee my success! George AKA Holy Spirit doesn’t speak of Himself, He only takes what belongs to Jesus and reveals it to me! Jesus says we can have access to all that is His! He fulfilled the legal demands that gives me access to be restored to the position Adam held before the fall.

What was Adam doing before the fall? He was walking in the cool of the day with God, face to face, friend to friend! He had a personal relationship with God! Satan came to Eve to destroy that relationship? Jesus came to reconcile us back to that personal position with God!

Then Jesus took it a few steps further. He healed the sick, raised the dad, cleansed the lepers, cast out devils, and destroyed the works of the devil! He not only restored our position He began to erase the effects of the results of our lost position by destroying the works or actions of the devil.

God wants relationship with us. Not religious acts. He doesn’t care what I wear, who I hang out with, what political party I affiliate with, if I have perfect church attendance, or what adjectives I use when angry or happy!

These things can effect my belief or feelings that God will not approve of me. They can cause me to see myself differently than the scripture tells me God sees me. They can effect my emotions and hinder me from receiving His unconditional love. They can make me doubt that I deserve to be His friend.

Don't misunderstand me I am not saying that we can freely sin, knowingly commit law breaking acts. The scripture is clear on sin. I am saying that what I believe will dictate the level of emotional confidence I will walk in towards a personal relationship with God.

He knows me, really knows me, gets me and still likes me, no, it’s more than that He loves me! Me. With all my sins and shortcomings!

He loves me! Jesus became sin for me so I could experience the freedom from sin consciousness. The freedom from the guilt associated with failure or sin. Because of my understanding of this love I will choose more carefully how I respond to the above list of activities.

As a child I loved keys. They represented the ability to access things. I loved to hear the sound they make when shaken. The more old keys I could collect the more power they represented. Although as a child the keys I had were discards they were no longer used to access things we still had or needed. What I felt was an imagined importance and position was a powerless ring of jingling metal. That no longer accessed anything. I pretended they fit things in my childish imaginative world.

This is the picture of the devil. He may have a few keys that we have lost or he has stolen. Some have been discarded because we no longer need access or no longer own or live in the place these keys gave us past entry. Oh, he has the keys, he can jingle them and make noise but he can’t open any doors or gates with them. He can’t start any engines to carry me away to places I don’t wish to go! He is just pretending they fit things in my world!

The accuser can speak into my ear past experiences. If I listen and imagine the pictures he is creating with his words, then I am giving my God given ability to produce life or death, through the power of my spoken words, to him. I am entertaining his words, speaking out the negative, fear filled, words he suggests and thus giving the enemy an access to create negative manifestations for my future. I handed him my keys. He will take my keys and lock me away from access to what belongs to me.

He has no power, doesn’t need any if he can get me to use my keys to unlock the area of my negative faith. Get me to speak negative faith filled words that create the very road blocks that will hinder or detour my future successes.

When the Father speaks to me, He speaks to my inner man, to the very center of who I am. When I listen and communicate with Him, His words will create images that will activate my faith and also produce manifestations in my future.

God always speaks to the future. If He tells me He is sending me provision. Like the manna the children of Israel had in the wilderness, it came fresh each day!

It was a now word that manifest in the future. They didn’t gather 40 years of manna and have to use it daily to survive. They gathered it daily and if they gathered more than the prescribed amount it produced worms!

When God speaks to me from His position outside of the manifested earth realm He is speaking to my future. I am filled with faith and excitement in anticipation of what and how this will come. I can then ask Holy Spirit, AKA George, who will then instruct me as to the timeline in the earth as to when I can expect the manifestation of the promised provision. Then I wait, sometimes not so patiently.

Its like if I order something from Amazon. I go online order the product, pay for it, get a tentative delivery date, a tracking number, confirmation the order is being processed, complete my transaction, then wait for the delivery. If I get impatient or feel it is taking too long. I can go back to the site and put in my tracking number and see the detailed status of my order.

We go online with prayer to Heaven place our order, pay with my MasterBlood card, Jesus provided for me, get a confirmation through the word that the order is processing, complete my transaction and wait for the delivery. The present petitions or requests are now coming in my future. I am waiting for delivery. I can go to George who will track the process and get a reassurance that my delivery is on the way.

George AKA Holy Spirit will not come and immediately begin to explain or teach me and tell me what I need to know, without me asking Him. He is available to show me things to come, but will not override my will to give me the information.

Now, the enemy on the other hand will come immediately to steal the word of the Lord! He will whisper in my ear and remind me of the immediate issues, like past due dates on the calendar, symptoms, pain, scary diagnosis, broken relationships ect. and tell me the answer won’t get here in time. He will remind me of times when things didn’t come through in time. He won’t bother to tell me that the reason they didn’t come in time was because I had not done my part to get them here, or I had rushed in with my own solution and missed the timing of heaven. Or maybe he just ran interference to try to discourage me and cause me to give up and not be available when my delivery date came!

I am on a journey to clean out all the old files, albums and reels of my past experiences. Sort them out and take a close look at the truth of where these past things stand in light of God’s right now word to me.

I have cleared out many things in the last three years. I still almost daily find things that I have stuffed away because they were just too painful or frustrating to deal with at the time. George is helping me. I access the memory or emotion and hold it up for Him to shine the light of truth on. Then I decide if it will go into another folder for refile or put on the burn pile.

There seems to be a continual fire going in my life. The same fire that burns up the old hoarded trinkets, lies and half truths is the same fire that burns in my soul. Effecting a change on how I think and feel about past traumas. There are things in all of our lives that happen because we made choices and are living with the consequences of those choices good, bad or indifferent. There are also things that have been done to us that have thrown us into an emotional state of sadness and pain. We have had our trust broken or destroyed by people and events and we are trying desperately to regain our footing and trust again. Some of us have lost our trust in God, or the God we knew before tragedy struck our lives.

Without trust their can be no relationship. So if my trust in God has been shaken, only I can decide if I am willing to establish communication with Him and try to rebuild trust through a personal relationship.

Church is great for fellowship with others who are experiencing some of the same issue as we are. A place to worship and bond with others of like faith. Church will not give you a relationship with God, only a religious or social relationship with mankind.

I am also taking out my huge ring of keys, gathered over a life time of entering life's doors, and gates. Keys used on things I once owned and no longer need or have access to. I am removing all the old keys that no longer give me access to the immediate necessities of my life. Casting them into the fire of His presence and watching them melt into nothingness.

I am keeping the keys to the kingdom and making sure they are attached at my waist, with my loins covered in truth. I will always know where I have placed them and the truth producing ability to use them correctly.

I am putting on the helmet of salvation to cover my mind and thinking processes, the breastplate of righteousness, to cover my heart and beliefs, girting my loins with truth, protecting my ability to reproduce through my words spoken, putting on the shoes of the good news of peace, taking up the shield of faith to deflect and deter the attacks and fiery darts of the enemy, in my hand is the sword of the spirit as I cut coming and going to divide the truth from the lies!

My armor may be dented and misshapen but it is strong and sure for George has dressed me with power from on high and I Am a force to be reckoned with!
